York Zimmerman Inc. (YZI) is an independent film and video production company located in Washington, D.C. We produce documentaries about people and ideas which change the world -- stories of war, faith, justice, revolution. Our productions have been broadcast on public, commercial and cable networks, both in the United States and abroad, and have been recognized with top awards in the fields of journalism and filmmaking.

Senior Producer Steve York, who also writes and directs our programs, brings 40 years of experience in the motion picture and television industries to YZI's projects.

Managing Producer Miriam Zimmerman directs the legal, financial and business affairs of the company.

Besides documentaries, York Zimmerman Inc. also produces non-broadcast films for institutions, organizations and museums, as well as public service announcements for causes which we embrace.
